I’m looking for a cycling shoe that other’s wouldn’t know is a cycling shoe, and if I’m clicking all over the place because of the SPD it defeats the purpose for me.

Hi, I found getting my normal size worked fine. Although I do have wide feet. If you’ve got narrower feet I’d certainly recommend following their advice.
